Your first account on an email address starts on a 14-day trial with every paid module unlocked, and no card is collected to begin it. When the trial ends those modules lock and the account carries on with the free plan below, until you press Upgrade and enter a card yourself. You can view and set your total project budget from Settings either way; tracking expenses against it is one of the paid modules.

Can I pay for a plan today?
Yes. Pick Monthly or Annual above and press Upgrade, which starts a secure checkout with Creem, our payment processor, where you enter your card. Upgrading ends your free trial and starts billing today.
What do I get if I create an account now?
The free plan: one build project, unlimited Tasks, every Phase Guide, and CSV export of your own data, plus you can view and set your total project budget from Settings. Materials, Permits, Punch List, Documents, Contractors, Calendar, Daily Log, expense tracking, AI receipt scanning, AI voice-to-task logging, and Draw Packages are paid features. A new account gets 14 days with all of them unlocked. When those 14 days run out the paid features lock, and the Upgrade button on this page, or the one in Settings, unlocks them again — your own data and its CSV export stay available either way.
Will I be charged without warning?
No. There is no payment method on file unless you put one there. The only way to be charged is to press Upgrade and complete the checkout yourself, and the 14 day trial starts without a card.
What is the difference between monthly and annual?
Only the billing cadence. Both plans are the same product with the same features; annual billing saves $180/year (about $24.92/month vs $39.99/month).
What happens to my data?
It stays in your account. We are not deleting projects, logs or photos to push anyone onto a paid plan.
Is my data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS, and stored in Supabase with row-level security policies so your project rows are only readable by your account. We do not sell your data.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. While your payments are up to date, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
What's your refund policy?
Within 7 days of your first payment, email support@ownerbuildhq.com for a full refund. We also cancel the subscription, and Pro access ends. See section 4 of our Terms of Service for full details.
